FUN TIMES IN CALI

So recently I have decided to start going out more so I can network and make bigger moves, and so I joined some new groups on MeetUp.Com to find out what events were going on in my area.  Well... this week there was a YouTube event and I decided to go and I had so much fun!  I even was able to get info for a second music event as well for the same week.  Recently it has been very difficult for me to focus on my goals because so many things are going on in my mind.  I miss my Mom, and my family, and most of all I miss having friends to go out with.  Even though I'm originally from LA all my best friends are on the East Coast.  I have been trying to meet some cool people out in Cali but it just hasn't been the same.  I always feel however there is a solution to every problem so I took some time to look within and ask myself what could I do to make things better, and the answer I came up with is, JUST TRY HARDER! LOL

When you move around a lot growing up its hard to form long lasting relationships because you never have any stability.  I always moved back and forth from New York to California throughout my adolescent years so my friends are all spread out and that's really frustrating, but such is life.  If you want something to change you have to put forth the effort and make it happen so here I am making it Happen!  I have several other networking events to attend this week, and I feel good about my progress.  As long as you keep moving forward you can Never Fail!

GROUPIE LUV!

You have admired a Music Artist or Ball Player from afar... You keep up with their latest actions, and you respect his/her talents. You feel some kind of affection towards this person all though you have never met them face to face. The thought of them makes you smile, and feel all giddy inside when you see them come across your TV screen... These feelings are similar to Love, but how can you be in Love with someone who doesn’t even know you exist?? Could this be the beginning of a ... Groupie Luv!

In reality there is nothing wrong with having admiration for someone. It’s easy to look up to a public figure and feel some sort of attraction to them. Whether it’s because of their talents and gifts or because of the way they claim power and attention. After all who wants someone who is just sitting around not making moves? The people that are the most appealing often times are the ones who are action takers, and leaders. You look up to them because they have stepped up to the plate, and done things that other people have only dreamed to do. So why wouldn’t you feel some kind of attraction for them?

The Term Groupie is defined as---- "An ardent fan of a celebrity, someone who follows a group/artist around on tours. An admirer of a celebrity who attends as many of his or her public appearances as possible."

So how does this admiration turn into a Sexual Attraction? You start off as a fan “A devotee or enthusiast", and then the next thing you know you are being referred to as a Groupie which is a "Fan" to the tenth power. The feelings you develop go from being basic to sexual, and you start fantasizing about this unknown person in a romantic sense. Whenever you see them in an interview, or video you start to imagine how it would be to have them in your life for real, and you become intrigued to know about all the moves they make. Some people may say these feelings are crazy, and down right obsessive, but are they really? What’s wrong with wanting to know about someone you’re attracted to? I feel your admiration only becomes dangerous when you take an aggressive action toward your crush, and you do and say things that are out of your character in order to gain their affection or temporary love.

Having a "Groupie Luv" is perfectly safe in my opinion as long as you do not put yourself in harms way or degrade yourself or your body in order to get a temporary fix. Contrary to popular belief, I don’t believe all groupie luv involves an exchange of sexual favors. I feel you can look up to someone, follow their progress, be attracted to them and go on to build a plutonic relationship with them. After all aren’t Entertainers and Athletes normal people too? They Love, Cry, and get their Hearts Broken just like everyone else. So why do you have to be called names just because you admire someone, or because you fantasize about a person in a sexual way. Isn’t this a normal feeling? Why wouldn’t you have sexual thoughts for someone you find attractive? Whether they are in the lime light or not!

There are all types of Luvs, and I personally feel that nothing is wrong with "Groupie Luv" as long as that love doesn’t turn into a Dangerous Fatal Attraction. No matter what kind of situation you’re in, you have to keep your safety, and self respect as your first priority. If you’re of age, and you can wake up in the morning and be proud of what you did the night before then who’s to judge? You have to be happy and fulfilled with yourself, and be able to live with your actions, and choices in life. I feel "Love" is a beautiful thing, but you need to always have love and respect for yourself before you can have Love for anyone else. Keep in mind that Artist and Athletes again are just people. They are not Gods or Untouchable Creatures. 

I feel it’s important to understand that most people who are currently in the lime light once had a “Groupie Luv” too! They have looked up to artist/entertainers on TV, and have been attracted to them, followed their progress, and had sexual thoughts about them. It’s completely normal, and innocent in nature to have a “Groupie Luv”, at least until you take aggressive action, and then it becomes something more.

THE FEMALES TEN COMMANDMENTS

Many people ask me why I'm single, and honestly there is no simple answer. I have given so many guys chances recently, and in the end it was a big FAIL! I'm not trying to say all the guys I ever dated were bad, I'm speaking on the last couple of years. I did have several Good Men in my life, and when I had them it was me who messed up. I was not mature enough to handle a serious relationship back then, and I think a part of me was afraid that the relationship was too good to be true, so I purposely sabotaged it.  

Now that I have matured and I'm ready to be open, and take a chance at Love it seems all I meet are lazy guys who want Sex with no commitment or Sex without putting in any work at all. No courtship, no dinners, no being there when your car breaks down, just Sex and then they go about their business. Maybe I'm not getting out enough or maybe I need to travel more because lately I've been working a lot and I haven't had the chance to move around, but Damn it seems the older I get the worse my selection of "Men" become.

I know I am partially to blame because I have not always laid down "The Rules" AKA said exactly what I expected or what I wanted. I just hung out with them, and did the whole independent woman routine. My mom raised me to never depend on a man so I rarely asked for help. A part of me thought it would make me look weak. But now that I have a house, and bigger responsibilities I realize that when you have a man in your life he should be there to make your life easier not harder. 

He should alleviate some of your stress, and in turn you should be there to support him as well. I never expected much so I never got much. So because of that I was wrong, but now that I have grown I understand that as a woman you must not give in to your feelings of loneliness, and sexual urges before you know that the person that your dealing with is truly in your best interest. In other words they care about your well being, and want to give not just take, they care about your happiness, and your safety. Someone who will go out of their way to let you know that you are not alone in this world, and that they have your back.

Too many woman allow a man to get something for nothing. They cook and clean for them, open their legs for them, give their love, and affection away for what? for sexual gratification?  For someone to warm your bed at night? If that's all you need ladies get a Heated Blanket and a Vibrator! I have been guilty of these things in the past, and on a Serious Note just 5 months ago I gave my all to someone who did not deserve or appreciate my time or affection but it STOPS NOW! 

No matter how bad it gets I need to understand that my Priorities comes first over my Loneliness, and need for affection. I'm a woman not a girl anymore, and its well over due that I Say What I want from a man in a realistic context and not allow the Bullshit to continue. A guy needs to put in work to be with me, but I'm also willing to put in the same amount of work in return.  Ive never had a problem giving my all and making sure that the person I'm with is happy. My only problem was in the midst of giving him my all I forgot about what HE should be giving to ME!

ME & MR JONES!

So the other day I was on my Say Now account taking calls from some of my many fans! LMAO and I happened to look over to the open call list, and I spotted a familiar name Mr Donell Jones! "You Know Whats Up!" I was like WOW! Mr Juicy lips himself. So I rushed to the phone to call him up, and you wont believe all the groupies that were hyperventilating over the phone during their conversation with Donell! It was quite entertaining to say the least. I loved every minute of it! LOL

When it was my turn to be on the line, I must admit I was somewhat nervous because I didn't have anything to talk about, but to my surprise Donell was very down to earth, and he made me feel completely at ease. He is a cool person, and I enjoyed the conversation we had together. I am looking forward to interviewing him one day on my radio show "LuvOnBlast"

FRUSTRATION CAN BE GOOD SOMETIMES!!

This past weekend I had planned to film Part 2 of my Project for "Luv On Blast" in Baltimore, MD. “Luv On Blast TV” is another section of my Relationship/Music venture. Well unfortunately a director that I found online turned out to be extremely unreliable and unprofessional, so I had to continue the project on my own. I have a camcorder but it was not equipped to do interviews so I just did the best I could. I drove the hour + drive on my own with faith by my side, and I handed out flyers, and networked with people. I was determined not to let my trip go to waste!

After I completed my networking, I researched different options to assist me in completing the interviews on my own. I found out that I needed a “Hot Shoe” attachment for my camcorder in order to attach the external microphone. I also priced Tripods for my camcorder as well, and I found out that everything I needed was relatively inexpensive.

Although it would be helpful to have someone there to lend a hand with the camcorder I can’t afford to wait around for anyone to push my dream!

My point in saying all this is….. When you have a Project that you feel Passionately about as I do with mine you cant wait around for a Team of People to work with you, you have to go out and make things Happen, and after that people will be Running Behind You to be a Part of What you have Started! I have learned to be A Hustler. Nothing in my life was ever given to me. I really believe my current project can become BIG, and therefore I have to push on without anyone’s help. I have learned so much through this lesson. I can now record my own videos, transfer the footage, edit them, and convert them on my own! Its time to make moves, and I’m up for the Challenge!

RELIGION & THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY.

There was a discussion in the chat room the other night about music and how it affects our mental thoughts. I personally agree that music does have an impact on the way we live our life, but I also feel that movies do as well. I think the entertainment industry in a whole can have an impact on people in a negative and positive way. There is rap music that can uplift your spirit, and in turn there is also rap music out there that can make you want to go shoot somebody in the face! It all depends on what or who you choose to listen to. In the end we all make our own personnel choices, and what you listen to or watch is just a seed that is implanted in our head. You don’t have to follow what you see or hear, but I agree it can have some influence on you none the less. That’s why it’s important to filter out what you bring into your life.

There have been times when I listened to sexual music and it made me want to go out and have sex, but I chose not to. Just because I listen to a sexual song that doesn’t mean I’m going to be forced to sleep with someone. I still made the choice to be true to myself. Since I’m more of a visual person however, movies stick in my mind more than music does. For me it’s the visual and the verbal that really gets to my psyche, but even still just because I watch something that doesn’t mean I’m going to follow through with the actions I see.


I choose not to listen to music that is highly negative, and or violent because I don’t want to have negative energy around me or in my thoughts. Everyone has a choice, and it’s not my place to say what is right or what is wrong for any individual person. All I can do is change myself, and make sure I watch and listen to things that will impact my life in a positive way. Sometimes I am guilty of watching violent movies, but I also watch spiritual and positive movies as well, so for me it evens out. There are numerous artists that express their religious beliefs, and they say that they are deeply in touch with god. I know I pray regularly, and for me it’s important to have God in my life, and in my spirit.

Here’s the question...Can you make and or listen to sexual or violent songs/movies, and then turn around and say your a Christian or a Spiritual person? Why or Why not.

BEYONCE AT THE INAUGURATION??

There is a petition going around to stop Beyonce from singing at President Barack Obama’s Inauguration. When I initially saw this in my email I thought it was a joke, but then I saw how they had raised over 500 signatures in support to the cause. Lets look at the reasoning behind the petition. What kind of person do we really want on stage representing this momentous event? I personally don’t think anyone who portrays a slutty image should be singing on stage representing the first black president of the United States. This is a huge deal people! This does not happen everyday! Someone who signed the petition raised a good point about President Obama’s young daughters witnessing this event as well. What kind of image do we really want to send out? 

I personally feel Jennifer Hudson is an excellent choice, and there were rumors that President Obama personally asked Jennifer to perform. She sends a positive image out to females, and society. Jennifer is not only a beautiful woman, but she also has high morals as well. I heard she turned down several movie deals because she didn’t want to be nude, and send the wrong message to her fans. Now that’s the kind of woman who needs to be singing at this event! I don’t know how everyone feels about this, and I know some people will look at this petition as HATERATION, but let’s think about this on a deeper level.

Is Beyonce really the best choice? Does she send a positive message to young people? She is married to Jay Z. Does he send a positive message? Is Beyonce an attractive talented performer? Yes by all means she is, but is she being a positive role model by dancing around half naked in skimpy outfits? No, and that is the real issue here!

Below is a statement from an Anonymous person who signed the petition. I feel she makes some excellent points.

I do not think based on Beyonce's stripper routine dances it would be appropriate for her to perform at the inauguration. It sends the wrong message of what Obama is about. Her style of dancing and choice of wardrobe does not send the right message for young women. There is a difference between being sexy (Janet Jackson)and gyrating around without the proper underwear on while performing (Beyonce). There are too many other female performers out there who did not take the easy way out to advance their career and represent a more positive image for women, Alicia Keys, Corraine Bailey, Leona Lewis, Jennifer Hudson, India Arie, Nancy Wilson, Aretha Franklin, Lena Horne, Patti Labelle... Sorry but you can not have it both ways dance like a $5 stripper on Saturday and sing at the Presidential inauguration on Tuesday. I think he should have female performers that represent the aspirations Obama has for his two daughters."

So it seems there has been a buzz lately regarding Karrine Steffans's pregnancy. Everyone is wondering "Who's The Baby’s Daddy!!!" Honestly it could be practically anyone! LOL For some reason however, rapper/actor "Bow wow" has been the main focus point around this dramatic fiasco! Lucky him right? Well anyway Bow wow has released a statement via Mix Tape regarding his affiliation with Karrine, and the rumors surrounding him fathering her child check it out.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NELLY!

Today November 2nd is Nelly's Birthday, and I wanted to do a special video in his honor. I think Nelly is oh so fine! He has such a seductive style, from his full lips to his sexy swagger on down to his awesome biceps. He is definitely a man that commands attention. The great thing about Nelly is he's not only handsome but intelligent as well. Nelly is a very ambitious, and goal oriented individual with numerous accomplishments under his belt. Cornell Haynes Jr., has sold over 50 million records, and he continues to strive for great things. He is an actor, athlete, a business entrepreneur, and so much more. Nelly’s Apple Bottoms line has become a huge success, and his other clothing line called Vokál has also done tremendous sells as well.

Nelly recently released his 5th album on September 16th entitled Brass knuckles, and I must say Im loving the new CD. My favorite songs on the album are, "Body On Me" (featuring Ashanti & Akon) and "Long Night" (featuring Usher). There is so much more I could say about Nelly, but I just wanted to highlight some of the main things that stood out to me. I love to see black men grow and become successful. Happy Birthday Nelly! I wish you all the best! Keep doing your thing, and continue to make those haters HATE! LOL Since I'm not there to celebrate your birthday, I made you a special gift from the heart. I hope you like it!

THE PRECIOUS GIFT OF LIFE

This past month a very tragic incident occurred. Jennifer Hudson's mother (Darnell Donerson), brother (Jason), and 7 year old nephew (Julian King) were all killed. I don’t want to go into detail about this occurrence. I would rather take this time to talk about the precious gift of life. This past June I lost my father to Cancer, so I personally understand how devastating it is to lose a parent. Sometimes we don’t understand or agree with the way things happen in life, but we have to keep moving on. As I look at these beautiful pictures of Jennifer and her mother I think of my mother. I am not always the best daughter. I must admit sometimes I can be a spoiled brat.

On Friday October 24th, my mother called me and asked if I would like to go see the movie "The Secret Life of Bees", with Jennifer Hudson, Queen Latifah, and Alicia Keyes. I brushed her off and said I’m busy! I have a lot of things I have to do this weekend so I don’t have time to go with you. As I’m sitting here at my desk I'm crying because unlike Jennifer I have the opportunity to talk to my mother on the phone everyday. I can run to her right now, and hold her in my arms. I know Jenn would give anything to have her mother and brother back in her life again. Life is so precious, and often times we take it for granted! No one is promised tomorrow, and it’s so important to tell the people in your life that you love them every single day! Never get off the phone or leave their side with out saying, "I- Love - You" because you never know what the future holds.

On November 10, 2007 Kayne West lost his mother to cosmetic complications. Something that should have been a simple procedure turned out to be deadly. I can’t imagine how Kayne must have felt when he got the news. You can tell they were very close. Whenever Kayne would take a picture, his mom was never far behind. I know Donda and Darnell are looking down on their children smiling with pride. Its so funny how no matter what you do your parents have unconditional love for you, or at least they should. I know for a fact my mother has sacrificed everything for me, and she loves me no matter what I say or do. With all my heart I want to make her proud of me.

I find myself even now going through my cell phone and pushing the send button to call my father, and just when I’m about to go through with the call I remember he’s not going to answer. I still haven’t deleted his number from my phone, and I don’t plan to either. It’s like as long as his name is there he’s not really gone. If I lost my mother I honestly don’t know if I would be able to breathe, because she is my life.

I send my prayers and blessings out to Jennifer and her family, and I also send out strength and love to Kayne and his family as well. I send out my condolences right now to everyone in this world who has ever lost someone they loved. Always remember they may not be walking on this earth with you any longer, but they are still with you in spirit. Your loved ones are in your heart, in your breath, in your soul, and in your thoughts. As long as you love them, they will never be forgotten and they will live on through you forever!

I LOVE YOU GUS! Thank you for making peace with me before you died. I’m so glad I got to tell you about some of my upcoming projects before you passed away. Just keep on watching over me. I swear I’m gonna make you proud one day!

WHAT HAPPENED TO GLENN LEWIS? (EXCLUSIVE!)

What ever happened to the unbelievably sexy Glenn Lewis?

Last night I was online in a chat room and someone mentioned my favorite song by India Arie called, "Ready for Love." I'm a very romantic person and that song really touches my soul. I decided to look the video up on you tube, and while watching India Arie sing her heart out I caught a glimpse of a familiar face. It was the infamous Glenn Lewis. He was sitting at a table in the background looking like a sexy piece of chocolate cake, and I started having all types of fantasies that I can’t mention on this post! LOL I swear I'm gonna make it my mission to bring Glenn Lewis back on the music scene. Since the release of his first single "The Thing to Do" in 1998, Glenn Lewis has been serenading us with his sweet voice, and I’m not ready to give up on him just yet. His unique sound is magnificent, and it should be floating on the airways.

Glenn's exotic features come from his Island heritage. His mother is from Trinidad, and his father is from Jamaica. Yes, we Trini’s are beautiful creatures! LOL

I started researching some information today, and I noticed several postings back in April 2008 stating that Glenn Lewis was back with a new song called, "Stay with Me" produced by Terry Hunter. Why hasn’t this song been on the radio? Well I tell you one thing it will be on my upcoming radio show this Sunday October 12th! The track is very different from his previous works, but I still love it! If anyone knows Glenn Please let him know I will stay with him indefinitely! I love you Glenn! Please don’t leave us hanging much longer.

FYI: The word is Mr. Lewis now resides somewhere in Philadelphia, PA. Glenn I’m coming to Philly this weekend and I’m looking for you!!! LMAO

Exclusive Update! Good thing I waited an extra day to release this blog because I found yet another song by Glenn Lewis coming out this year. There is a Canadian rapper by the name of Kardinal Offishall, and he has a track on his new CD called "Family Tree (Still Eyerize)." This track is definitely HOT, and Glenn's soulful voice seals the deal. The CD entitled, "Not 4 Sale" was released in September 2008 under Konvict Muzik. This is Kardinal's fourth album.

WE LOOSE RADIO SHOW! (EXCLUSIVE!)

This past week I had the pleasure of Co-hosting the premier of a very special show called, “We Loose Radio,” on September 30th 2008. I was on the air broadcasting Entertainment News, and giving my various opinions about the music industry. I want to thank Skip for valuing my insight, and inviting me to join him on his show.

We Loose Radio is a weekly broadcast that airs every Tuesday @ 11PM EST out of Miami, FL. The focus of the show is to showcase new Rap/Hip Hop artist that are looking for exposure. The show also has entertainment news with yours truly, sports updates, and various special appearances by artist in the music industry.




This week I got a chance to go deep into the motivation behind WeLooseRadio, and this is what I discovered...

Skip can you tell me more about your Radio show, who is your targeted audience? I consider my show to be a true Indie and unsigned showcase. I also have a little entertainment, comedy, current event discussions, and commentary. I'd like my audience to be anyone who enjoys good music. I take pride in playing songs that aren’t on the radio, which people may have never heard of, or from artists that no one knows about.

How did you come up with the name "We Loose Radio?"
Well the name of our music label is WELOOSE (All caps, One word) Music, so it just fit that our radio station would be called WELOOSE radio. WELOOSE, comes from 2 parts WE meaning "family" and LOOSE meaning "we out here."

What are your long term plans for the show?
I plan to do the show as long as those indie and unsigned artists continue to supply me with good music to spin. I hope that in the future I can get some good high profile interviews, and maybe develop a large enough fan base to have my show sponsored and promoted on a national level. What I would really love is to take the show from web radio to TV.

What inspired you to start a Radio Show?
Well I’ve always been trying to find another medium to expose my own music as well as Indie and unsigned artists. I believe in the pay it forward concept. So I started with an online magazine that was short lived, but was still very successful as far as fan base and exposure. When I heard about the web radio format, I thought it would be fun.

Where are you originally from?
I was born on an Army base in Ft Campbell, KY. I then moved to Germany, which is where my mother is from, and when we relocated back to the US I lived in KY, TN, KS, and finally after much traveling we ended up in Miami, FL where my dad is originally from.

Do you have any further information you would like to include about yourself or the show?
The show is every Tuesday at 11pm EST, we try to feature and interview at least 2 or 3 artists each month. Id really like to have some label execs or those out there with indie labels to take a listen to some of the talent I'm floating their way. JENNIFER HUDSON IS ENGAGED TO PUNK?

Jennifer Hudson is engaged now? I tell you not having cable must be really cramping my style, because this information is all new to me. I thought she was still dating her high school sweetheart from Chicago James Peyton. I didn’t realize it actually has been a while since their split because last year she was supposedly dating New York Jets football star Kerry Rhodes. For the record I just want to say that I think Jennifer Hudson is one the most beautiful black women in Hollywood right now. Her lips, eyes, voice, and full voluptuous figure is definitely something to be admired. My only question is why is she engaged to Punk? I was a faithful fan of "I Love New York," a hit reality show on Vh1. The shows entertaining cast was partially the reason why I was determined to keep my cable on for so long. I honestly needed some entertainment in my life, and New York aka Tiffany Pollard always had me rolling with laughter. For all those who didn’t watch the show "I love New York 2," David Otunga aka Punk was a contestant vying for New York's affection. He consistently walked around in tight muscle shirts looking like a body builder on steroids! Punk's eyes were usually red like a zombie, and his hair stood up on the top of his head as if he had been electrocuted!

I’m sorry but in my opinion Jennifer could do a lot better. Although David appears to be a nice respectful guy, I just don’t see him as a comparable match for my girl Jen. I figured she would outgrow her high school sweetheart James, and move on to someone who was more on her level. I’m not saying anything is wrong with a Hollywood Diva marrying an average working man, but that man should be working on attaining big things. As long as both of your aspirations are high, and you can work towards your dreams together I see nothing wrong with the union. I would personally marry a guy whose income was substantially less than mine if I saw something special in him. It’s all about determination and growth, I want to be with someone who actively strives to make moves everyday. It seems that Jennifer and her ex James were not growing in the same direction. Well anyway Jennifer obviously has made the decision to spend her life with former VH1 contestant Punk. David reportedly proposed to Jennifer with a Neil lane diamond ring on her birthday, Friday September 12th, 2008.

The proposal was very unique to say the least. Punk took Jennifer to the beach and hid her ring in the sand. "I had no clue at all," Hudson said on The Tonight Show. "We went to the beach during the day and he blindfolded me and he gave me a purple shovel, because purple is my favorite color, and I had to dig." Hmmm what do I have to say about that? Well...I give David credit for being creative; however during a proposal I feel the man should be doing all the work. All I should have to do is sit on a chair like a princess while he gets down on one knee and professes his undying love to me. Well despite my personal feelings on the matter Jennifer obviously seems happy, and therefore I am happy for her. She deserves to have the very best! David you better treat my girl right or I’m gonna have to come find you, and trust me it wont be pretty! LOL

Last but not least is the infamous David Otunga, aka "Punk." Is it just me, or are his lips a little too shiny? It looks like he uses more lips gloss than me! LOL

While typing up this blog I was surfing the net, and I happened to run across "BlackVoices.com." Why did I see a comment saying Punk looks like Terry McMillan’s ex husband! LOL I almost fell on the floor from laughing so hard. (Look at the picture below, See any resemblance?) LMAO!!!!!!

FYI: On a serious note while I have made humorous remarks about punk it was all in good fun. I honestly wish Jennifer and David Otunga the best on their upcoming marriage. May you both have a long and prosperous union together. Xoxo Mizzblaze

KELLY ROWLAND'S FAB NEW LOOK!

I caught a glimpse of these pictures recently of Kelly Rowland in Milan during Fashion Week 2008. I must say I immediately got a smile on my face when I saw how beautiful Kelly looked, and I had to do a blog about this. Kelly has gone from looking like a young girl to a DIVA! She looks flawless in these pictures, and I am so proud of her. I pray one day soon I can make a come up like this, because I know my look needs some serious improvement! LOL

I personally never liked Kelly in red hair. I don’t think it complemented her at all. I could tell she was attractive, but she never looked sexy to me. I can understand why she wanted to stand out from the other group members in Destiny's Child, especially when Beyonce took all the attention.

This picture above is just plain old scary! The hat, the makeup, and the complete wardrobe scream out HELP ME! I need a professional stylist! LOL When I came across this picture I started busting out laughing. I know everyone has one of these HOT Mess moments floating in their photo album at home, but just imagine if that picture was circling around online for thousands of people to see! LOL I swear if I was a celebrity I would wear shades everyday all day. No photographer would catch me looking like this! LMAO

Now this picture here is cute, but you can tell she's still coming into her own. I love the background and the lil dog sitting on her back is so precious. I still don’t like the red hair though. The jagged hair cut just isn’t working for me.


In this picture I’m not quite sure what’s going on, but I think Kelly is attempting to look sexy! LOL (That was so wrong of me I know. he he) Seriously though, again the makeup and the red hair is throwing everything off. This whole look just doesn’t say sex appeal, and the shoes......Who dressed her for this shoot anyway? LOL

Now we go back to the present! Let’s look at Kelly's phenomenal transformation.

It's Official! Kelly is all grown up, and she is a force to be reckoned with. She looks like a beautiful sophisticated woman who is ready to take on big things. You Go Girl!

ASHANTI & NELLY (MY FAVORITE COUPLE)

There are several couples I would like to acknowledge, because their relationship makes me smile every time I see them together. Love is so precious and beautiful, and I just wanted to take the time to show off some pictures that motivate me to continue my search for true love..........


The First Couple on my list are Nelly & Ashanti. I think they are so cute together. Even though I honestly want Nelly all to myself LOL I can’t deny the bond that these two share together. It seems they have both a friendship, and a close intimate relationship as well. Whenever I see Nelly and Ashanti together they always look so happy! What a wonderful feeling to be in love, and to have a special connection with the one you cherish most! Absolutely FABULOUS!

This beautiful picture was taken on February 2008 during Clive Davis's Pre Grammy Party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles; CA. How is it that Nelly and Ashanti always look flawless? I know no one is perfect, but when they are together they give off this aura of sophistication and class. They’re always dressed in the most up to date fashion, and I honestly don’t think it’s just because they have money. This couple has good taste as well, and they know how to throw things together. Yes celebrities do have professional designers that dress them, but Nelly and Ashanti seem to have a unique look that is all their own. Don’t Hate!
